Mark your calendars.

opening night (23.3.2009)
17.30 agora aud 1
part of v2c forum 2009

Martti Syrjä & Erja Häkkinen
talk about solving global problems on a local scale.

Join Martti & Erja, (two celebrities in Finland) as they discuss their experience of bringing windmills to Ivovo, a small village in northern Madagascar.

The Finns will likely remember this from Nelonen's reality TV show, Operaatio Maa (Operation Earth).

We'll also hear about what we're doing right here, at the University of Jyväskylä, to solve global problems at the local level with an introduction to the Global Venture Lab and some examples of growth-oriented ventures in the "lab" that are striving to change the world through business.

We'll wrap up the evening by bringing this back to YOU - what is jyu talks about and why should you go to your faculty night talk?

by faculties (24.3-1.4.2009)

Grab a drink, watch a quick film and talk about how your education can help change the world for the better.

See when your faculty is talking.  Bring nothing but yourself, an open mind and trusty vocal chords :)
